Students study the language and culture of Spain. They gain an overview of the geography, politics, history, traditions, food, and religion of Spain, and of Hispanic and Latino cultures throughout the world. They are introduced to basic conversational Spanish and learn to converse on everyday topics such as daily activities, travel, weather, and shopping. Textbook required.
