Intensive English and American Culture

Continuing Education Units: 6.00


Description:

Participants will develop all four English language skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) incorporating communicative interactive teaching methodologies dealing with both verbal and non-verbal forms of communication. Participants will develop communicative competence and skills that will help them to be autonomous learners through interactive programs. In addition, American culture will be introduced to students through lecture. Topics on American culture will include economics and history. Participants will also be required to write reflective journals on their experience and thoughts developing writing skills.
