Description:
Explore issues relevant to the care of clients who are HIV positive or have been diagnosed with other infectious diseases. This course will review universal precautions and Maryland law concerning the practice of massage with this client population, and will offer treatment modalities within the scope of practice of massage therapy. This course is designed to meet the three-hour HIV/communicable disease course requirements for licensure renewal in Maryland.
