Description:
Students learn and practice various skills needed in the medical laboratory, including pipeting, reagent preparation, operation of centrifuges, balances, autoclave, spectrophotometers and microscopes. Also included are techniques in the isolation of microorganisms and laboratory mathematics and measurements. MLT-1020 must be taken in the same semester. Passing grade in this course is C.
