Computational Skills


Course: MTH-0800
Course Credits: 3


Description:

Students study basic operations with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Other topics include solving simple equations, percents, and ratio and proportions. Assignments throughout the course focus on the development of problem-solving skills, communications skills, and effective study habits, especially as related to the study of mathematics. MTH-0800 does not fulfill degree requirements. The tuition charged is equivalent to a three credit course. Grades for this course are pass, fail, or in progress. This course is offered as both a traditional lecture course and as a computer-assisted course.
