College Mathematics I

Description:
Students with majors other than mathematics, science, or engineering learn linear modeling, graphical linear programming, matrix solutions to systems of equations, logic, sets, counting, probability, and the use of recursive formulas in the mathematics of finance. Particular emphasis is placed on developing problem solving skills with graphing calculators used extensively as a tool to enhance those skills. This course is offered in both a traditional and Web-based format.
