Precalculus Algebra and Trigonometry


Course: MTH-1150
Course Credits: 4
Prerequisites: MTH-1080


Description:

Students with two years of high school algebra and a course in trigonometry or the equivalent and who do not qualify for MTH-1200 prepare for calculus or other specialized courses in mathematics, engineering, or science. Topics include real and complex numbers, sets, intervals, algebraic, exponential and logarithmic functions, trigonometric functions, vectors and analytic geometry. Some topices are supported by the use of computer software such as MAPLE.
