Description:
This is an introductory course in differential and integral calculus with emphasis on differentiation techniques and their applications. Students learn to differentiate and integrate polynomial, exponential, and logarithmic functions of a single variable and to apply these skills in solving problems from business, economics, and science. Graphing calculators and computer software are incorporated in appropriate areas throughout the course. A graphing calculator is required.
