Differential Equations

Prerequisites: MTH-1210


Description:

Students learn to solve ordinary first order differential equations, linear differential equations of higher order, systems of differential equations using eigenvalues and eigenvectors, and the Laplace Transform. Students apply their knowledge to problems of rate, falling bodies, growth and decay, cooling, series and simple harmonic motion. Some topics are supported by computer software.
