Description:
This course is designed to meet the clinical hours for inactive RNs and LPNs completing a Maryland Board of Nursing approved course for licensure. Nurses work with a registered nurse preceptor to update their organizational abilities and decision-making and technical skills while caring for clients in a variety of healthcare settings. These supervised clinical experiences allow nurses to gain self confidence while managing patient care and demonstrating accountability for their own practice. The Nurse Refresher Course, NUR 5010, must be completed within the year immediately preceding NUR-7010.
