Description:
Nursing staff in long-term care facilities will learn how to complete specialized forms required by state and federal regulations. Topics include the components and parameters of an accurate assessment, quality indicators and their impact on Long Term Care Facilities and Transitional Care Units and the importance of accuracy in the gathering and transmitting data. Regulatory survey activity to include the surveyor's use of MDS and QI data will be covered.
