Description:
This course will focus on the case management skills necessary in the chemical dependency counseling field. The course will be built around the Twelve Core Functions of the addictions counselor (screening, in-take, orientation, assessment, treatment planning, counseling, referral , record-keeping, and consultation). In addition, such topics as ethics , confidentiality and regulatory agencies will be covered. This course is combined with credit course HMS-1100.
