Description:
Abnormal behavior is studied using the behavioral sciences. A brief history of the mental health movement includes the concepts of both normal and abnormal behavior. Students learn about psychoneuroses, psychoses, personality and emotional disorders, the DSM classification system, theories of deviant behavior, and basic theories of therapy. This course is combined with credit course PSY-2310. Textbook required.
