Description:
This course enables students to assess their current levels of physical fitness and wellness, formulate and define goals to improve their current fitness levels, and describe the principles involved in promoting and maintaining total wellness and physical fitness in daily living. In addition to physical fitness, the course will include principles of healthy nutrition, stress reduction, and identifying lifestyle patterns that can lead to disease, illness, or premature death. Enrollment in the lab course, WFS-1700L, is required in the same semester.
