Description:

This course provides participants with a basic understanding of good nutrition and safe weight loss techniques. Topics to be covered include: information on maintaining a low fat, cholesterol, and sodium diet; food guide pyramid; food labeling; designing an effective exercise program; healthy food choices when dining out; healthy snack choices; safe weight loss; and planning a healthy food menu.
