Basic Exercise Guidelines and Protocols

Description:

This course is specifically designed to teach individuals, interested in working in the health and fitness field, the guidelines and protocols that should be followed in outlining a basic exercise program. Various methods and modes of training are examined including flexibility, resistance, and cardiovascular conditioning. Participants learn to apply fitness test results, from an apparently healthy individual, to exercise selection and order, resistance level, training volume, training frequency, rest periods, recovery, and develop an appropriate basic exercise program.
