Maryland Basic Boating Instruction Course

Description:

This course is offered in cooperation with the Maryland Department of Natural Resources and is intended for persons wishing to earn their Certificate of Boating Safety Education - a requirement for any person born on or after July 1, 1972 who operates a registered or documented pleasure vessel on Maryland waters. Topics include general boat and boating information, legal requirements, navigation rules, accidents, and weather and water conditions. Parent must register with students under 14 years of age.
