Bachelor's Degree Opportunities

College of Notre Dame of Maryland

The liberal arts/elementary education bachelor’s program is being offered at CSM’s Prince Frederick campus through Notre Dame’s Accelerated College, a part-time program for working adults.

CSM graduates completing any of these degrees:

will be able to transfer up to 64 credits into College of Notre Dame’s program.

The liberal arts/elementary education bachelor’s program takes approximately three years to complete through the Accelerated College format and features extensive student-teaching experience. The college also offers full-time study in education at the main campus in Baltimore.

Designed for the working adult balancing professional, family and community commitments, Accelerated College enables students to study together as a cohort (of approximately 20) and move through the program together. Several courses are completed during a traditional semester, taking one class at a time. Classes are four to eight weeks in length and meet on the same day and at the same time each week for the duration of the program.

Once a student joins a cohort, tuition is locked in, and the rate remains the same until graduation.

Accelerated College was founded in 2003 to provide the adult learner with an innovative, flexible format to obtain a bachelor’s degree. Programs in nursing (RN to BSN) and business join liberal arts/elementary education offered by College of Notre Dame in an Accelerated format.
