The alliance program with St. Mary's College of Maryland (SMCM) offers students dual admission into the Computer Science program to complete their associate's degrees at CSM and transfer credits to SMCM.

Students are encouraged to speak to an advisor early in their program of study about this transfer option.

Participation in the St. Mary’s College computer science dual admission program requires students to:

Have earned at least 12 credits from CSM
Have a 3.0 grade-point average or higher
Declare computer science as a program of study at CSM
Be enrolled at CSM and in good standing
Send an official CSM transcript to St. Mary’s College
Meet with a CSM advisor to verify credits and sign the dual admission petition
Complete the admissions application to St. Mary’s College as a transfer student
Apply for admission to St. Mary’s College by:
- February 15 for the fall semester
- October 15 for the spring semester
