Transfer Options
CSM offers a special transfer partnership with the University of Maryland, College Park and the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) located at the Patuxent River Naval Air Station in St. Mary’s County. As students transition to the University of Maryland program, they will have the opportunity to work on base and build real-world experience while earning their BS degrees in engineering. Junior-level and senior-level courses are taught locally at the Southern Maryland Higher Education Center.
The College of Southern Maryland (CSM) now has a new partnership with George Mason University that offers admission to CSM graduates who have earned specific associate’s degrees at CSM and who wish to transfer to pursue their bachelor's degrees. Admission requirements vary.
