Description:

This program, an option* to the teacher education: elementary degree, prepares students who wish to transfer to a baccalaureate program in Maryland and major in early childhood education. It is designed to provide the student with the first two years of course requirements toward completion of the Maryland State Teacher Early Childhood Certificate for nursery through third grade.To assure maximum transferability of credits, students are urged to consult with an advisor prior to registration due to the variability of course requirements at four-year colleges and universities. The maximum number of credits accepted in transfer from other institutions to this program is 45.*Program options are listed under Programs of Study in this catalog.
