Description:

This course sequence prepares students for employment as phlebotomists in a health care facility or clinic. Students develop the basic skills necessary to perform various blood collection procedures. In addition to scheduled class hours, students develop skills in the classroom laboratory and in a clinical facility.Completion of the courses prepares students to complete a national certification exam.The maximum number of credits accepted in transfer from other institutions to this program is 6.
