Transfer Student Admissions

 

Students who intend to apply 12 or more credits of successful college-level work from another institution toward a degree or certificate at the College of Southern Maryland are considered transfer students.

Students with fewer than 12 credits of successful college work follow the admission, placement, and registration procedures for full-time or part-time students.

In order to be admitted as a transfer student, the student must:

  • Submit an application for admission.
  • Submit an official transcript of all credits to be evaluated sent from each institution, at which credits have been earned.
  • Transcripts should be sent within the first semester of attendance.
