GOLF TEAM DEFEATS ANNE ARUNDEL TO OPEN
SEASON 3-0
April 5, 2006 -CSM
Golfers were challenged by one of our toughest Golf Courses, Old South
Country Club, on Tuesday, April 4, 2006 with winds consistently blowing
20-30 miles per hour and gusts in excess of 40+. CSM's Alan Mattingly had
the lowest score of 84 for his second straight medalist showing in our two
matches. R.J. Persetic had the second best round for the Hawks with an 86
on the aerated greens of Old South. Brian Beavan and Josh Humphrey rounded
out the scoring for CSM as they posted their third victory without a
defeat. Matt Wagner withdrew after 9 holes because of his back which he has
struggled with this Spring. Anne Arundel's top seeded player, Eddy
Milligan, shot a 97 in disbelief under the harsh conditions.
