CSM Golfers are the 2006 Maryland JUCO
Champions
April 21, 2006 - On Thursday,
April 20, Breton Bay Country Club hosted the match that determined the
Maryland JUCO Champions between Montgomery Rockville, the 2005 Champion, and
CSM. CSM.s Team score of 317 was their best of the year while Rockville shot
335. CSM Captain Matt Wagner and Rockville's Brent Davis both shot 74 to be
co-medalists. Davis won the 2005 National Championship for Division III @
the National Junior College Athletic Association Tournament. CSM's R.J.
Persetic (79), Alan Mattingly (81) and Brian Beavan (83) secured the victory
for the Hawks.
CSM will travel to Frederick's home course on Thursday, April 27 for the
final regular season match of the year in an attempt at an undefeated
season.
