HAWKS IN NATIONAL GOLF TOURNAMENT
Day 1
May 23, 2007 -
CSM's Matt Wagner shot 75 (+3) on the first
day of the NJCAA Golf Tournament held at Goose Pond Colony Country Club in
Scottsboro, Ala. Matt is tied for 46th place, ten strokes behind the
leader Bill Jones III from Darton College, Ga., who shot 65 (-7) on the
first day of competition.
CSM's other two golfers in the competition, Vinnie Hancock shot 81 (+9) and
was tied for 97th place, while Matt Gribble shot 84 (+12) and was tied for
118th place.
There are three more days of competition, as the tournament continues
through May 25.
