GOLF PLACES 2ND IN REGIONAL TOURNAMENT

May 10, 2007 - The CSM golf team finished 2nd in the Region XX Golf Tournament, held May 8 and 9 at Beaver Creek Country Club in Hagerstown, Md.  The Hawks finished with a team score of 649, twelve strokes behind Region XX Champion Harford, who shot 637 as a team. 

     CSM's Matt Wagner (155) and Vinnie Hancock (159) qualified for the National Tournament.  Matt Gribble just missed qualifying, losing a two hole play-off to Donnie Murple from Potomac State. 

     The National Tournament will be played at Goose Pond Colony in Scottsboro, Ala., May 22 - 25.
