GOLF DEFEATS ANNE ARUNDEL TO IMPROVE TO 3-1
April 15 -
The CSM golf team won their third match of
the season, defeating Anne Arundel 330-380 in a match played at Hawthorne
Country Club. Both teams had a difficult time, suffering a number of
penalty strokes from the numerous hazards and from hitting the ball out of
bounds. CSM's Greg Ottani was the medalist with a 78, as he had an
outstanding round with 12 pars and 6 bogeys.
CSM will host Hagerstown in their final home match of the season, April 15,
at Hawthorne Country Club, beginning at 12:30 PM.
The Hawks will travel to Aberdeen, Md. to face defending Region XX Champion
Harford, along with Potomac State, at Ruggles Golf Course on April 22.
