QUINCY TARPLEY SIGNS WITH UDC

April 23, 2001 - Men's basketball player Quincy Tarpley signed today with UDC.  Tarpley led the MDJUCO conference in assists this season with 9.6 per game, and was selected 2nd team Region XX.  He averaged 19 pts. per game (tied for 9th) and was 8th in the conference in free throw percentage at 81.3.  He averaged 4.2 steals per game.  At UDC Tarpley will be reunited in the backcourt with former CSM player Tony Pope.
