HAGERSTOWN WINS BATTLE OF THE HAWKS

Saturday, December 14 - The Hawks from Hagerstown defeated CSM 104-85, before a crowd of over 200. 

    CSM (0-10, 0-3) jumped to an early 10-9 lead, before Hagerstown (5-6) slowly pulled away to a 57-39 halftime lead.  Hagerstown was led by Rexon Kinny (12 pts.), and Gebront Gaday (8 pts.)

    Bryan Payne displayed a nice inside, outside game to pace CSM with 11 pts., and Jason Stone added 7 on some fine inside moves.

    Although CSM played hard in the second half, they were unable to put a dent in Hagerstown's lead.  Rexon Kenny and Peter Sajery paced Hagerstown with 16 pts.  Bryan Payne and Jason Stone finished with 15 pts., and Jermaine Tinch added 13 for CSM.

    CSM returns to action with two home games next week, playing Dundalk Monday and Howard on Wednesday.  Both games begin at 7:00 PM.
