The CSM men's basketball team broke open a close game,
outscoring the Tidewater Storm 15-4 over the final three minutes to win 87-76.

HAWKS DEFEAT ST. MARY'S FOR FIRST WIN
November 17, 2008 -
The CSM men's basketball team won their first game of the year,
defeating St. Mary's JV 95-76. Sterling Doleman, Brandon Jarman, and Chris
Brown led a balanced scoring attack for the Hawks, as they each scored 17
points.

HAWKS RALLY FALLS SHORT
November 13, 2008 -
After trailing for most of the first half, the CSM men's
basketball team rallied to take the lead in the second half, only to see NOVA
pull away at the end to win 93-84.
Chris Brown led the Hawks with 21 points, while
Sterling Doleman added 15, and Bryan Morgan had 11 points.

BASKETBALL TO HOST MIDNIGHT MADNESS
October 2, 2008 - The men and women's
basketball teams will be hosting "Midnight Madness", on Friday, October 10 at
7:00 PM. Both teams will scrimmage, and there will be a 3-Point Contest,
Hot Shot Contest, and a Dunking Contest. Admission is free, and DJ will be
on hand to provide entertainment.
