Tim Bowie has been involved with the College of Southern Maryland’s Men’s
basketball program for many years as a team captain and starting player in
both the 2002-2003 and 2004-2005 seasons. He will now venture into his
second year as an assistant coach for CSM. Over the summer, Bowie
participated on the coaching staff at Duke, Villanova, and the University of
Maryland’s youth basketball camps.
Coach Bowie’s role on the team is dynamic, as he is instrumental in
fundraising, recruiting, organizing special events such as Midnight Madness,
Coaches vs. Cancer and Funds for Friends, along with on-the-court assistant
coaching.
Coach Bowie works as an In-School Suspension Coordinator at Northern High
School, and is pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in history at UMUC. He resides
