WHERE ARE THEY NOW: Jimmy Parrott
November 8, 2007 -
Jimmy Parrott was a member of the 1993 men's soccer team, the only soccer team
in school history to play in the NJCAA Championship Tournament. Now
Parrott lives and teaches school in Chesapeake, Va., and successfully competes
in Duathlon competitions, including the 2007 World Championship, where he placed
third in his age group.

HAWKS DENIED THREEPEAT - FALL TO ESSEX IN
REGION FINAL
October 29, 2007 -
After winning back to back Region XX Championships in 2005 and 2006, the men's
soccer team were denied their third straight title, as they fell in the
championship game to Essex 1-0.

7 HAWKS SELECTED FOR POST SEASON HONORS
October 24, 2007 -
Seven members of CSM men's soccer team have been selected for
post-season honors. Guil Costa, Brandon Gross, and Marco Gaudio were
selected 1st Team All MDJUCO, while Dan Funk was 2nd Team All MDJUCO.
Costa, Gross, Gaudio, and Funk were also selected
1st Team All Region XX. AJ Sweeney, Jason McCann, and BJ Jamieson were
selected 2nd Team All Region XX.

HAWKS DEFEAT TAKOMA PARK
October 11, 2007 -
The CSM men's soccer team defeated Takoma Park 5-2 for their 7th win in a row.
The team is now 12-3 overall, and 10-1 in MDJUCO. Brandon Gross led the
way with 3 goals and Marco Gaudio and Chris Reulet had one each. Guil
Costa had two assists for the Hawks, with Brandon Evans, Jason McCann, and
Gaudio having one each.

HAWKS DEFEAT ROCKVILLE FOR 5th WIN IN A ROW
October 4, 2007 -
The CSM men's soccer team defeated Rockville 3-1 on a hot, humid afternoon, to
claim their fifth win in a row. The team improves to 10-3 overall, and
solidifies their grasp on second place in the conference with a 8-1 record in
MDJUCO play. Brandon Gross scored two goals, Marco Gaudio scored once, and
Guil Costa had an assist to lead the Hawks.

#14 RANKED HAWKS DOWN HARFORD
September 10, 2007 -
On a hot muggy afternoon, the #14 ranked CSM men's soccer team
defeated Harford 5-3 to remain undefeated in MDJUCO play.

2007 MEN'S SOCCER SCHEDULE FEATURES TRIP TO
ARIZONA
June 22, 2007 - The 2007 CSM men's soccer
schedule features a trip to Arizona where the Hawks will participate in the
Yavapai Tournament. The Hawks will play San Jacinto (Texas) in the opening
round on August 31. The next day CSM will face either Schoolcraft (Michigan), or
the host school Yavapai, which finished last season ranked #2 in the country.
CSM will play another
ranked team in 2007, as they host Louisburg on Oct. 13. Louisburg finished
last season ranked fourth in the nation. Two strong division III teams
will also visit CSM next season, with CSM hosting Rockville (#11) on October 4,
and Prince George's (#14) on Sept. 5.
The Hawks will open the
season the weekend of August 24 and 25 when they play in the Howard Tournament.
