Scott Raley Recognized as NovaCare Rehabilitation’s

Athlete of the Month

Wednesday, December 11 – Scott Raley, a forward for the College of Southern Maryland Soccer team, has been named the NovaCare Rehabilitation Athlete of the Month for November.  His strong work ethic and dedication lead to him receiving this award.

A Hollywood native, Scott played his high school soccer at Leonardtown High School before coming to CSM.  As a freshman, he was instrumental in the team’s offense and was a continual threat because of his speed and explosiveness.  According to first year coach, Tony Galeano, “He was very hard to contain around the goal.  Scott was instrumental in leading our team to its national ranking (16th) and was a great player to coach.”  Scott was on of the leading scorers in the Maryland JUCO Conference with 13 goals and 3 assists.  His season honors include a selection to MDJUCO first team and first team All Region XX.
