CSM DOWNS HAGERSTOWN

September 22 - The men's soccer team won their third game in a row, a 3-0 victory at Hagerstown.  The Hawks improve to 4-2 overall, and 4-1 in MDJUCO.

Barry Wilson scored the first goal for CSM midway through the first half.  Wilson positioned himself in front of the goal, received a pass from Dave Yates, and knocked it home from three yards out.

Just five minutes into the second half, Jusufu Barclay netted a penalty shot to put CSM ahead 2-0.  Barclay also scored the Hawks final goal when he received a 40 yard pass from Barry Wilson and scored on a breakaway.

Ben Chase recorded his first shut-out of the season.  The Hawks defense was stingy, as they allowed only six Hagerstown shots on goal.

CSM will host intersectional rival Essex (NJ) Friday, September 24 at 4:00 PM.
