| Ron Mann - Compliance Officer
We are extremely privileged to have Ron on our staff. His many
years of experience have been invaluable as he handles
all aspects of athletic eligibility. In addition to his duties at CSM,
he will begins his second term as the Secretary-Treasurer for the men's
division of the NJCAA in 2006-07. He was a Professor and the
Coordinator of Athletics at Prince George's Community College (Largo, Md.)
from 1968-2005.
In his tenure at Prince George's, Mann coached the men's soccer team,
baseball team, men's basketball team, softball team, and the bowling team.
His 1978 men's soccer team advanced to the national tournament, winning the
national championship!
Mann received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Frostburg State College
in 1962, where he lettered in soccer, basketball, and baseball. He
went on to receive his Master of Arts Degree from George Washington
University in 1965.
An 11-time NJCAA Region XX Coach of the Year, he was inducted into the
NJCAA Region XX Hall of Fame in 1998. He is currently the Region XX
Assistant Director and the Region XX Standard & Ethics and Baseball
Committee Chair. In 1999 he was selected NACDA Athletic Director of
the Year. He was the past president of the Maryland Junior College
Athletic Conference and was the NJCAA Soccer Coaches Association President
from 1986-2003. |
