Michelle Ruble – Assistant Director of
Student Life, Athletics
Michelle graduated from La Plata High
school where she was active there, participating in volleyball, basketball,
softball, band, cheerleading, and SGA. Her high school honors include the prestigious Scholar
Athlete of the Year Award and many All-SMAC and All- County honors. Her sport of
choice at the college level was volleyball at Elon University, North Carolina,
where she was a three-year captain and an Academic All-American.
Michelle begin her career in athletics as the Head Volleyball Coach at
CSM in 1991, and was hired into her current full-time position in 2001.
Among her awards and honors in her tenure at CSM are being crowned Queen
Mystique for the 2002 Annual Civista Hospital Mardi Gras Fundraiser, named
MDJUCO Coach of the Year for Volleyball in 2002, and named as the MDJUCO
Athletic Director of the Year for 2002-03.
Michelle's Master's Degree is from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland.
She
resides in Charles County with her husband Gary and their two children Brock and
Devin. |
