     We start playing games in about a week and everyone is getting excited as well as a little nervous.  It would be great if the weather would stay nice so we could continue to practice outside, because indoor practices are just very unrealistic.  The whole atmosphere of being outside makes the game completely different.  Last year, I played every position so I am pretty much the utility player.  My favorite position however is third base.  It sounds bad, but you get some line shots at third, and it’s just sort of a reaction.  That’s why I love playing there although I haven’t played there since high school.  This year, I will catch a lot of the time and catching is probably the second most exciting position besides pitching.  It’s exciting because your involved in the game at all times.  Also, you have a little control of what is going on because you get to call the pitches, which is pretty cool.  We are not exactly sure who will be playing where yet, but we have an idea.  We still have a lot of work to do but we have been progressing every day.
