FORMER CSM SOFTBALL STARS SHINE IN SUMMER LEAGUE

October 2, 2003 - Four former CSM softball players joined together to play for the Tornadoes in Greenbelt this summer.  Amanda Boswell, Megan Oursler, Andrea Brady, and Erin Waltersdorf led the Tornadoes to a 20-0 record and the league championship. 

    Erin Waltersdorf was the team's top pitcher with nine wins and won the "Top Gun" pitching award.  Megan Oursler had an outstanding season and won the "Rookie of the Year Award".  The group plans to reunite next summer to defend their championship.

    Amanda Boswell has enrolled at Frostburg State this fall, and has joined the field hockey team this fall.  She has played in eight of the ten games and has one goal and three assists.  She also plans to play softball for Frostburg this spring.

    Erin Waltersdorf and Megan Oursler are also enrolled in college this fall, while Andrea Brady is busy planning her wedding.
