Thursday, July 9 - Heather Turner, Jamea Waltersdorff, Erica Bates, and Danielle Sturman were named to the First Team All-Region XX Team for Division II. 

     Heather Turner was 20-8 pitching, with 124 strike-outs and and ERA of 1.36.  When not pitching she played center field, and she hit .352 with 23 RBI's. 

     Erica Bates alternated pitching and playing center field with Turner.  Bates was 11-1 toeing the rubber, with 50 strike-outs and an ERA of 1.32.  At the plate Bates led the team in hitting with a .444 batting average, and 19 RBI's. 

     Jamea Waltersdorff played shortstop, and was known for her outstanding defense, taking away many hits from opponents with her great range and rifle arm.    As lead-off batter Waltersdorff hit .388 with an on base percentage of .418.  She had 28 RBI's and led the team with 35 runs scored.

     Danielle Sturman played 1st base for the Hawks.  She let the team with 32 RBI's,  and was the second leading hitter batting .429.  She hit for power, with 13 doubles and a triple.
