LADY HAWKS FALL IN REGION XX TOURNAMENT
May 8, 2006 -
The CSM softball team won their first game in
the Region XX Tournament, defeating Allegany 8-5. CSM lost their next
game to Catonsville 6-2, dropping the Hawks into the losers bracket.
CSM was eliminated in a heartbreaking loss to Chesapeake, as the Skipjacks
came back in the bottom of the 7th inning to defeat the Hawks
9-8. Hagerstown went on to win the tournament, and advance to the
National Championship Tournament.
