MIKE GARNER NAMED CSM SOFTBALL COACH
May 28, 2008 -
Mike Garner has been named Head Softball
Coach at the College of Southern Maryland. Mike has extensive
experience coaching softball, having coached several different teams over
the past 16 years. Mike currently coaches Hughesville in Little
League, and his teamhas won the last three Maryland State Championships
(2005-07). He also coaches the Southern Maryland Shockers, a select 16
and under team.

In Memory of Tommy Morrison
August 30, 1941 - May 7, 2008
May 8, 2008 - Tommy's impact on CSM's softball program is legendary throughout the junior college community as the statistics above speak for themselves. He was well known for his unbelievable strategic mind as a third base coach as well as being a true gentleman of the game. He always won with dignity and lost with grace.

CSM CANCELS SOFTBALL SEASON
March 13, 2008 -
The College of Southern Maryland will not be fielding a
softball team this spring, due to insufficient numbers. CSM is in the process
of hiring a new head coach, and plans on fielding a team in 2009.
