Ron has been an active participant in the game since his graduation from high school, traveling throughout the country playing in the highly competitive USAV and NAGVA organizations.  As a coach, Ron has worked with the Charles County Juniors 16 and under team, as well as many individual high school athletes. 

Ron graduated from McDonough High School, where he was a self-taught volleyball player due to the lack of opportunities for males to compete in the sport.  He went on to play competitively for NCAA Division III Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island, before transferring to Towson University where he played club ball for the remainder of his career.

He finds great joy in teaching and coaching the game of volleyball, and has made it a goal to pass on his experience to aspiring young athletes.  Ron has also coached with the Charles County Juniors program for the last 3 years.
