WOMEN'S BASKETBALL DROPS FINAL 3 GAMES

Monday, February 18 - The Lady Hawks dropped the final three games of their season, going 0-3 in the Louisburg Tournament.  CSM lost to Louisburg on Friday 107-40.  This looked like a premier match-up at the beginning of the season, with CSM coming off a 25-4 season in 2000-2001.  However after an 8-0 start the Hawks lost three starters when they became ineligible for the second semester, and CSM played with 5 players for most of the rest of the season.  CSM was more competitive on Saturday, losing a close game to Essex 61-53. The Hawks dropped the final game on Sunday to  Baltimore 69-55.

Megan Baskins shined for the Hawks, scoring 56 points in the 3 games, while at the same time being the primary ball handler and running the Hawks offense.

CSM's official record for the season will be 8-2, which is the record they had before dropping to club status in January.
