HAWKS FALL TO CECIL IN ANOTHER CLOSE LOSS

Down to just six players after losing several
to eligibility, the women's basketball team put in another superb effort,
but came up short, falling to Cecil 76-74. The Hawks have now lost
their last three games by a total of 12 points.
Trailing 42-30 at halftime, the Hawks rallied to pull within two points at
76-74, but could not get off a final shot after Cecil missed a free
throw with 1.9 seconds left to play.
Shannon Wilson led CSM with 21 points, and Tanya Sites added 19 points.
The Hawks fall to 8-8 overall, and 4-4 in MDJUCO. CSM will travel to
Prince George's on Friday for a 5:00 PM game, and then will finish the
season with six straight home games, beginning with Dundalk on Monday, Jan.
29 (7:00 PM), and Chesapeake on Tuesday, Jan. 30 (5:00 PM).
