January 25, 2007 -

undefeated Hagerstown, ranked 6th in the country, 88-68.

points for CSM. Latoya Buckner led Hagerstown with 20 points.
It looked like Hagerstown would run away with the game in the early going,
as they raced to an early 9-0 lead. CSM slowly chipped away at the
lead, and Chantal Hebron's two free throws put CSM ahead 12-11 with 13:39 to
play.

14-12, but Brooke Martin answered with a basket to tie the game at 14-14
with 11:30 left in the first half.
Hagerstown (18-0, 9-0) went on a 34-14 run to end the first half, capped by
Lindsey Smith's three pointer at the buzzer from just inside half court, to
take a 48-28 led at the break.
In the second half CSM (6-11, 1-7) was able to cut the lead to 14 pts.
twice. Chris Velez's three pointer cut the Hagerstown lead to 76-62
with 4:44 to play, and Katie Kidd fed Chantal Hebron for a lay-up trimming
the margin to 80-66 with 2:30 to play, but that was as close as CSM could
get.
CSM begins a four game road trip on January 29 when they travel to Valley
Forge. CSM plays their final home game of the year Feb. 14 when they
