LUFRUI'S HAT TRICK LEADS LADY HAWKS TO 7-0 WIN

Monday, September 30 - Julia Lufrui scored three goals, and assisted on another in leading CSM to a 7-0 win over Potomac State.

Lufrui scored all of her goals in the first half as CSM (4-5, 3-2) dominated play, out shooting the Catamounts (1-6) 23-1.  CSM held a 3-0 lead at  halftime, which could easily have been bigger, as the Hawks peppered the goal with shots.  Tabitha Jett had several good chances, and Lauren Hoza sent a rocket off the left post.

CSM continued their dominance in the second half, out shooting Potomac State 11-2, and 34-3 for the game.  Lauren Hoza and Lisa Heideman each had two second half goals, while Tabitha Jett collected three assists.  Megan Long, Melanie Tyner, and Hoza also assisted on goals.

The Hawks will play again tomorrow, when they travel to Essex for a 4:00 PM game.
