This program is designed to prepare students for a network administrator position. Courses in this program will teach advanced networking skills necessary to design, maintain, and administer complex Microsoft Windows Server network infrastructure. This program will also prepare a student to pass the current national professional exams administered by Microsoft. Topics covered include Client and Server Configuration, DNS, Security, Disaster Recovery, TCP/IP, Active Directory, Application Services, and all areas of the day-to-day management of a network. The courses focus on basic and advanced networking skills, utilizing technology-based instructional material, traditional lecture and advanced hands-on lab work to provide the student the skills needed to deploy, manage and maintain the complex networks of today. Extensive labs are required during each class session.
