About the Chesapeake Area Consortium for Higher Education  |

The Chesapeake Area Consortium for Higher Education (CACHE) includes an alliance between three community colleges, Anne Arundel Community College, Chesapeake College and the College of Southern Maryland. In 1995, the physical therapist assistant program was set-up to cover a nine county area of Maryland. The Consortium enabled each college to offer a program that otherwise would not have been possible and the colleges fund the program jointly. A program director administers the program for the three-college consortium and reports to an Executive Board of members from each college.
