The physical therapist assistant program sequence is structured to provide a
series of learning experiences progressing from basic to complex to include
classroom, laboratory and clinical practice modules. The program is
full-time after the first semester and consists of 70 credits taken over a two-year period.
Development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills are emphasized.
Ethical issues, concepts of diversity and professional values are integrated
into the program to ensure responsible, compassionate and ethical conduct of
students in the clinical setting.
